Music Review of Miley Cyrus' "Used to be Young"
After the success of "Flowers", Cyrus is back with her latest single, "Used to be Young". The song is unlike any other of her latest. Cyrus is in a close up shot staring directly at the camera and having a heart to heart conversation with her listeners/ viewers. As she approaches the camera we see her wearing a red dress with black stockings but what strikes the eye of the viewers is her Mickey Mouse top underneath. As soon as the song begins her unique dressing style makes sense as she begins to talk about her old and new dressing style. The Mickey Mouse top thus, here could not only be a reference of her reminiscing being young, but also her close association with Disney. Cyrus had gained huge popularity and become a household name with her portrayal as Hannah Montana.
